Samsung
We designed a new concept for the multinational electronics company Samsung to showcase the company's wide range of products. The assignment for the concept design was to present a range of different electronics products to consumers as a single, visually cohesive and eye-catching whole. The design required an understanding of Samsung's very detailed and carefully crafted brand guidelines. The concept defined different spatial elements that were used in the changing exhibition situations. The starting point was to create a visually interesting look for the product presentations, combining a fresh and minimalist colour and material scheme with warm and even theatrical lighting. The aim was to clearly divide the spaces according to the different product categories and therefore views were deliberately limited, creating a more interesting and logical space without resembling a store. The space was designed to be very home-like and atmospheric, where people would feel comfortable. The visibility of the recognisable trademark was emphasised through impressive structures and good lighting. We successfully designed spaces according to the concept for several years.
